GMB stands for Google My Business, where it is possible to define info about your company (contact info, the address, product photos, ...)
When it is being searched on google map, only the results of the same nich are shown.
It is also possible to define the products you provide, as well as their price, so it is possible to compare value / price ratio.
Also upload photos of exterior, interior, team, products and project your GMB has participated on, as a refferal.
First of all, make sure the proper cattegory of your GMB is set. Incorrect category can cause your business not shown, on the map because of that.
Fill-in all required info (web address, phone number, opening hours, category of products provided).
From time to time post a new comment or note, so your GMB looks live and updated. No one will take care about restaurant without recent posts.
No matter, whether the reviews of your business are positive or negative, always answer them politely. The review form is not chat, so even replied negative review cannot be resolved further. Negative reviews should be solved outside of your GMB review form.
Upload your fresh photos every now and then. Eventualy ask your customers to review your business. For that, prepare them a single link pointing directly to the review form. Better is descriptive review, then just a star one.
The link of the review form can be placed into the e-mail signature you use, or even to the contact form at your website. As easy you will make it to your customers, it will be for their reviewing.
Install into your smart-phone My Business company, that helps to be notified about new reviews, or directly allows to upload fresh shots of your business, team, exterior or products.
GMB properly set, helps to everyone, to see them on the map of results. So when someone seeks for the hotel, and your's not shown on the map or in the search results, some displayed will be contacted instead of yours.
